Finally able to blog! (Thanks, new laptop :)

So, I was thinking about a more interesting way to give my opinions on some of the latest anime… and since anime is released in quarters (January/April/July/&October) and because I am still a student, a “progress report” might be a good way to start things. Therefore, based on what I have watched so far, here we go :)

Greetings Everyone. This time we’ll be taking a look at Amagami SS+ Plus and the changes that took place from the previous season, as well as how the overall anime concluded each heroine in their respective arc. Before we begin, please take note that obviously there will be spoilers (since we’ll be going over each character), so if you haven’t watched Amagami SS+ Plus or Amagami SS, I’d encourage you to do that first.

small image Winter 2012 Season So Far

Greetings everyone, I’m back from my trip to Hong Kong and Japan. I spent the two weeks visiting family, hiking the mountains, sight-seeing the city, experiencing the culture, eating all different kinds of cuisine, and shopping for my favourite goods that can’t be found in Canada (or is hard to come by). Even though I was only gone for two weeks, having to re-adjust my schedule was definitely not fun and took a lot of time to fix. Read more…

small image Winter 2012: Week 3

January 21, 2012 8:49 pm by small image

With the third week starting for most series, we will be looking at Another episode 2 and Amagami SS+ plus episode 3. Apparently the actual name for Amagami SS+ is “Amagami SS+ plus”, with the not only the symbol “+” but also the word “plus” included in the name. I don’t quite understand why the creators named it this, but I rather be more brief in my coverage so I’ll stick to Amagami SS+. I covered Nisemonogatari in a previous post which can be found here. Anyways..

Greetings everyone, with the start of week 2 this season, it looks like there’s just going to be too much material to cover if I am following this many shows. Instead, I have decided to cover my two main favourites, Nisemonogatari and Amagami SS+. I have a strong urge to cover Another, but that will decided once episode 2 airs and whether or not I feel up to blogging about it. With that being said…

Note: At the time of starting this post, it was Week 1 of Winter 2012. Obviously that’s not the case anymore, but I will try to stammmy more current from now on!

Greetings everyone, it’s been some time since my last post, so I thought I would briefly discuss what’s happening so far in terms of my personal life. After enduring a really tough school year full of exams and group projects, I am finally free! Graduating from Business Management, I will be hopefully finding a job soon related to something in my field. As you may have noticed, I have been quite inactive around YumeState for the past couple of months because of this. Rest assured though, I will be updating and working diligently now to bring you the best Yumestate has to offer.

small image Amagami SS: Season two announced!

August 13, 2011 12:01 pm by small image

A second season of Amagami SS was announced today on their official blog/twitter account. Being someone who absolutely loved and enjoyed the series, I can’t wait for the new season to begin. This may be one of the few anime that I will watch on a episodic basis, and not wait for the series to finish in order to watch it all at once. Read more…

  3. Special Anime Recommendations, K-On! and Angel Beats! (Part 3)

If you haven’t read Recommending Anime to your Friends (Part 1) yet, I highly encourage you to do so! It covers the basis of my suggestions and how I arrived at choosing these Anime for my friends.

Welcome to Part 2 of my Recommending Anime post. As always, my posts are spoiler-free unless otherwise indicated (and in great detail). This list is by no means designed to be the “End all, be all” guide to Anime out there. Treat this as more of a personal, but educated example of recommendations. A couple of things I want to go over first: Read more…

Streaming videos has become so easy with the access of broadband connections, to the point where you rarely need to wait longer than a couple of seconds for a video to buffer. Long gone are the days where you had to dial a connection using your home phone line and hog any incoming or outgoing calls with the telephone. With internet streaming becoming so popular thanks to YouTube and other Online Video websites, how does that compare to Downloading your favourite Anime?
